Permanent residence by job offer Eligibility

You may be eligible for this sub-category if you live outside of Canada or have proof of legal status in Canada, are not a refugee claimant, and meet the following criteria:

  • Have a minimum of 60 points on the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) point evaluation grid.
  • Have at least one year of work experience in the last ten years (in your intended occupation).
  • Have a minimum language score of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB)
    – Some companies or authorities may request higher-than-CLB results.
  • Be qualified for licensing in Saskatchewan (if your intended occupation is in a regulated profession or compulsory apprenticeship trade).
    – Check Regulated Occupations and Licensing Requirements to check if your desired occupation is regulated in Saskatchewan.
  • Have a job offer in Saskatchewan for a permanent, full-time position. To demonstrate evidence, you will require a valid SINP Job Approval Letter. Employers must join the SINP and get a Job Approval Letter. If you satisfy their hiring requirements, they will send you a Job Approval Letter.
  • There is no specific employment list, but your offer must be in an occupation in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) TEER level “0,” “1,” “2,” or “3,” or in a Saskatchewan-designated trade. Please be aware of the following exclusions:
  1. Food and Beverage Servers/Pers (NOC 65200) must apply through the Hospitality Sector Project sub-category or the Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot.
  2. This sub-category is only open to persons with high-skilled health jobs who are eligible for the International Healthcare Worker EOI Pool. Other health professionals must apply through the Saskatchewan Experience Health Professionals subcategory. You may be eligible for the Hard-to-Fill Skills (HFS) Pilot if you apply under NOC 33102.
